The fire, which started around 4:00 p.m., quickly spread through the dry grass, fueled by strong winds.

Elements of the H. Fire Department promptly responded to the emergency call. Units 63 and 68 were dispatched to the scene at 3:58 p.m. Firefighters worked efficiently to control the blaze, ensuring that no injuries were reported. The fire was contained near the new Soriana store, which is set to operate 24 hours a day and is situated next to Costco in the bustling tourist area.
The swift action of the workers and firefighters prevented the fire from causing extensive damage. Despite the rapid spread of the flames, they managed to contain the fire, though it did engulf a flattening machine within the heavy machinery park. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported among the workers or firefighters.
